01The 30-day money-back guarantee
If you’re not happy with your membership, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we’ll refund that payment in full. This applies to every plan — weekly, monthly and yearly.
We won’t ask you to justify it, and we won’t make you sit through a retention pitch. Tell us what didn’t work if you’d like — it genuinely helps us — but it isn’t a condition.
02What the guarantee doesn't cover
The guarantee applies to your first payment only. Renewals aren’t refundable, because you’ve had a full billing period to decide and to cancel before being charged again.
So if you’re on the yearly plan and it renews eleven months from now, that renewal charge stands. To avoid it, cancel before the renewal date — you’ll still keep access right up to it.
We send a reminder email before a renewal so it doesn’t catch you out, and your next renewal date is always shown on your account page.
03Cancelling is not the same as a refund
These are two different things, and the difference matters:
- Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep full access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. No money comes back, because you’re still using what you bought.
- A refund returns your money. Access ends when the refund is issued.
You can cancel yourself at any time from your account page. There’s no notice period and nothing to explain.
04How to ask for a refund
Email rick@rickrungood.com from the address on your account, and say you’d like a refund. That’s the whole process.
We aim to reply within two business days. Once approved, the refund goes back to the card you paid with — we can’t send it anywhere else. Your bank typically takes five to ten business days to show it, which is outside our control.
05Exceptions
We may decline a refund where an account has broken our Terms of Service — for example by scraping the data in bulk, redistributing it, or sharing a login. We may also decline repeated refunds where somebody subscribes and refunds over and over.
If we close your account for a reason that isn’t your fault, we’ll refund the unused part of your billing period whether or not the 30 days have passed.
06Please ask us before your bank
If a charge looks wrong, email us first. We can almost always sort it out the same week. Raising a chargeback with your bank instead starts a slow formal dispute, and typically results in the account being suspended while it’s resolved — which helps nobody.
07Your statutory rights
This guarantee is offered in addition to any rights you have under consumer law where you live, including the statutory cancellation rights available to consumers in the UK and European Union. Nothing here takes those away.
08Talk to us
If something isn’t right, tell us. We’d far rather fix it than lose you over something we didn’t know about.
